My journey to becoming a therapist
Following a successful career in education and assessment, first as a teacher and then in leadership and management roles, I decided to retrain as a therapist.
The first step in this new direction came when, whilst working as a senior manager, I became a management coach and found my passion in working with people on a one-to-one basis, supporting them to achieve their goals. Through this work my interest and care for people’s emotional lives came to the fore. These factors combined led to my desire to become a therapist.
Since then, I have found great fulfilment in working with my clients on their therapeutic journeys.
